Fun fact: In the middle of the living area sits a duo of tables crafted by Mellone's father using Pequia wood sourced by Tora Brasil. The company, as described by Mellone, scours the Amazon for fallen trees instead of cutting down new ones. Mellone's father collaborates with them to determine the best way to divide the wood for creating exquisite furniture pieces. In this particular instance, they came across a very old tree that had long been lifeless. As they carefully sliced it, the wood naturally split into two pieces, resulting in the creation of two distinct tables.
