✨BIG WIN✨ rolling into Friday 💙
Had a zoom call with the Hilton branding team yesterday for my Italian concept opening Fall 2024 in Sioux Falls and it went great!
My anxiety was through the roof 😬
💻 zoom already makes me nervous. Will my internet work? Will I have feedback on my computer? Will I be able to communicate my thoughts effectively? Will I be able to control myself from not interrupting others?
👑 I can get intimidated and fall deep into imposter syndrome with big wig clients. Am I good enough? Do I really know what I am talking about? Are they going to call bullshit and point out all my weaknesses? Who am I to be considered “the expert”?
🛣️ I left super early to get downtown for another client and when I hit hwy 94 in Hudson is was a parking lot! As the minutes drug on, I realized I’d be running in the door with 3 minutes to set up and log on.
💙 I took a few big deep breaths and started saying positive affirmations out loud in my car
💙 I let go of what was out of my control and sat in traffic determined to be okay with my plan not going to plan
💙 I visualized how they would be agreeable to branding ideas and give me the green light to move forward
✨✨✨It worked and the call went great and then I had an awesome shift with my new client 🍣✨✨✨
Do you ever need to get out of your own head to squash your anxiety? When shit starts caving in, what do you do to come through for yourself?
Today is going to be a great day! I get to go to Japanese whiskey training with a renowned trainer. I get to work in a BAD ass speakeasy for discovery to see how I can help my new client. I get to go back to my cocktail waitress roots and relive my youth with the youth. I’m happy. Happy Friday…hope you have a killer shift today 😘 xoxo m
