Hope travels by train.
Last Wednesday afternoon, more than 1,500 migrants were abandoned between the municipalities of Calera and Gral. Enrique Estrada, one of the most dangerous areas in the state of Zacatecas. The operator of the train belonging to FERROMEX in which they were traveling to reach the border with the United States, simply stopped the machines and withdrew, leaving them completely abandoned. Among the migrants there are children, elderly people and pregnant women who have been beaten and humiliated by personnel from the National Migration Institute. Borders only exist in the mind, migrating is a human right that should never be violated.
