After JD returned to the tree and saw everything empty and devoid of life JD collected everything and ran again. Not stopping till night. He sets up camp and reminisces of times of old when they would climb to the top of the tree and have s’mores and dream of freedom from the Bergans. He’s free from them now.. but at what cost.
