Cape Fuchsia. I’m not sure if I have seen these flowers before, but I am fascinated by the tubular flowers of the all-summer-blooming cultivars. I am also inspired by a photo of these flowers inside John Shewey’s book, The Hummingbird Handbook, so I painted some. “The red-flowering varieties of Cape fuchsia are winners of hummingbirds. “ Oh I should have included a hummer in it…!
