As dancers' swirling movements were becoming faster and faster, they started to bend more and more backwards, progressing into the deeper state of trance. From the ground level, I could barely see the dancing monks faces. It appeared to me that at this stage it would be critical to be able to photograph how their look is changing, as they were entering "the other universe". As time was running out, I needed desperately to climb somewhere to be able to shoot from above. The only solution seemed to be the monastery roof and that's where I climbed. Lying on my belly with heavy telephoto lens I was trying to take some picture and not to break my neck at the same time. Was all this effort successful?
