Well, friends... today is a very momentous occasion. I managed to arrange a trade for some of the last version exclusive legendaries I needed today, and then there was one final Pokémon to catch... Yes, I saved the classic Mewtwo for last. I can officially say I've caught them all in Pokémon Y! (Excepting some unobtainable mythicals, of course.) It's been a long, arduous journey... but thanks to my diligence and the aid of many trainers around the world, I have completed the National Pokédex. As the shutdown of 3DS internet services quickly approaches, I can't help but feel bittersweet. I will certainly miss trading with people around the globe. But at the very least, I can say my mission is finished. Thank you for all your support. Since today marks 10 years since Pokémon X and Y released, I thought I'd post a shiny from that region. This Chespin is actually not mine, I got it from a trade, but the situation is kinda funny... See, I put my GTS message as "shiny please" previously when I put a shiny on there and wanted one back, and then later I forgot to change it when I just wanted a Chespin for the Pokédex... well guess what, some kind person gave me a Shiny Chespin in the end. It's a really adorable Pokémon, so I was very happy about that. Anyhow, I'm feeling very nostalgic today. Pokémon X was the first game I ever finished (since Silver didn't want to work lol), and it's been a favorite of mine for a long time. I may not have my X copy anymore, but I'll never forget the hours I spent playing the game as a child. Kalos gets a lot of hate, but I think it has a lot of charm to it, so I will always love it regardless of its flaws. Well guys maybe you didn't know but I lost my 2DS XL for a while, and I finally found it!! Day 2 of the #WeekOfHandhelds ! 💕⁣ ⁣ My newest handheld is this Pokeball 2DS XL I got last year on a boxing day sale! This is my 4th system in the 3DS family and it's my favourite to use because it's so lightweight and comfortable to play but it still has those big beautiful XL screens 😍 I do miss the 3D sometimes (am I the only one who actually loves the 3D on the 3DS??) but most newer release 3DS games don't even support 3D so it's not a big loss 😅⁣ ⁣ How many 3DS systems do you own?
