As summer quickly approaches, ACCH is in need of gift cards, ticket donations and donations on our website for our children. We use gift cards all summer long for fun trips and treats. Donations made on our website under the summer fun category go to sending our kiddos to wonderful summer camps, where they can learn about the Lord, practice skills, make friends, and create lasting memories. Guatemala podría alcanzar temperaturas máximas entre 33°C a 34°C La Asociación Centroamericana Centro Humboldt (ACCH) presentó en noviembre de 2023 su más reciente estudio “Valoración del aprovechamiento y protección de los recursos naturales en Centroamérica”, en el cual se alerta sobre el incremento de las temperaturas para los años 2024 y 2025 en el territorio centroamericano, y en el que se pronóstica que Guatemala podría alcanzar una temperatura promedio anual de 28°C, y máximas entre 33°C a 34°C. Por su parte la NASA, la Organización Meteorológica Mundial (OMM), y el programa Copernicus indicaron que el 2023 fue el año más caluroso registrado hasta la fecha. En el marco del Día Mundial de la Acción Frente al Calentamiento Terrestre (28 de enero), el Ing. Víctor Campos, experto en temas ambientales y director ejecutivo de la Asociación Centroamericana Centro Humboldt (ACCH), comparte hallazgos significativos que destacan la urgencia de abordar las causas y consecuencias del cambio climático en la región, específicamente en Guatemala.
