🚀👨💼Entrepreneurship Coaching Program 🌐 The Atlas Entrepreneurship students had the honor of welcoming Mr. Christophe Carlier to a coaching session in class this month. They took a fascinating journey into the use of Open AI utilities for the business process. They learned how to leverage existing best practice prompts to polish interview scripts, prepare customer profiles, and review market competition. 📈💻 They also learned how to automate the meeting minute process, from creating MP3 files of meetings to then automating the transcription and summary minute document output using accepted best practice templates. The class will continue to utilize these skills, which will become a great contributor to output and quality for the development of their projects. Last month 5th Grade conducted a science experiment to find out which fizzy drink contained the most carbon dioxide. They began by looking at the properties of solids, liquids, and gases and the way the particles behave in each. They even acted out the way that particles move in different states! They then learned how fizzy drinks are made and discussed whether or not the carbon dioxide within the fizzy drink weighed anything. After discovering that it did, by weighing a drink before and after opening it, they began our experiment! They weighed each drink before they were opened when they still contained all of the carbon dioxide. They then stirred them for the same amount of time to release some of the gas and weighed them again. By comparing their results, they discovered that SPARKING WATER contained the most carbon dioxide. Their lesson objectives were: - I can identify solids, liquids, and gases. - I can explain some uses of gases. - I can investigate the weight of a gas. 3rd and 4th-grade students actively participated in a Beach Clean Up event, aiming to clean up trash and debris from the beach in order to save wildlife and vegetation in the area for Earth Day. It was a fun way to connect with the sea and learn about the environment where we live while making a difference. Teachers were trying to promote values in action so students could learn to care for their shorelines and beaches.
