The ๐งธ turned 2.5 this week and Iโm having a hard time wrapping my head around the how?! He had a great checkup with our favorites at @sproutpediatricsnola. I am so thankful for a pediatrician, doctor, and friend who loves my babies like theyโre her own. Beau spent the first 18 months of his life not able to put weight onโฆ some checkups in the 3%. It is truly such a joy to watch these dimple hands and squishy thighs run and play and thrive- and now heโs in the 65%. Little joys, every single day. Yesterday I had a plan unknowing God had a different one. Beau crossed the Rainbow Bridge unexpectedly with Dixie waiting on him. I lost my very best friend. One minute he was fine next he wasnโt I knew right away something was wrong. There are no words to describe the loss of him. Thank you to Dr Elliot Roanoke Animal Hospital who without hesitation saw Beau and found out very quickly what was wrong with my buddy. He was kind, honest and did everything he could to help Beau. Thank you to Autumn Melson who called Dr Elliot, jumped right in to help me and kept me calm as much as you could, you can imagine what kind of job that was. Beau loved the beach and ironically thatโs where he passed. Beau will be missed a lot, poor Baylor is sad, I honestly think she knows. Caleb is going to miss his Bobo. Iโm going to miss him the most, I know Dixie was waiting for him and now they are together again. Till we meet again buddy, I will think of you and miss everyday. Today was a hard day as this time last year Willow was here with us she was 2 weeks old for Valentines Day . Back when we thought we had nothing to worry about and we thought we would have many of Valentines days with her..Little did we know what was ahead of us..๐ Today was very different without Willow seeing all the mammys posting their little girls it hit me.๐ I do think, what would I have done for her?? What would she be like ??Would she be walking ??What would I have dressed her in?? What would she be like with her little brother?? (Probably slapping the head off him and pulling at him๐คฃno doubt) These are the thoughts that run through my head also trying my best to make sure Beau doesn't live in her shadow as he is very much his own little person even if he is getting more like her everyday..๐ฅฐ Every minute of every day we think of Willow sometimes the thoughts haunt me ๐ The way Beau looks and cuddles into her bear the comfort he gets from the Willow bear there is know doubt in my mind she's around us and especially her baby brother she is minding him.๐๐ Today once again we marked it for Willow but not only Willow her little brother too..We dressed the Willow Bear and Beau up, Daddy bought his baby girl a card and flowers and he got his baby boy a card and a Teddy bear this honestly broke my heart ๐๐ I know that Willow isn't here, but she is still very much part of this family and talked about every day..
