I am delighted to announce that I have been nominated to coach at the Paris 2024 Olympic Games with the marathon swimming team for Team GB ๐ฌ๐ง. If I was told at the start of the season that I would coach at a European and World Championships as well as an Olympic Games in one season I would have laughed in disbelief. I would like to thank EVERYONE who has been a part of my journey as an athlete and coach to help shape the person I am today (too many names to mention but you know who you are). I would also like to thank the two big contributing programs in @lboroswimming ๐ and @plymouthleander ๐๐. Day 4 at Ponds Forge saw a remarkable day of racing for Camden Swiss. We had Llewellyn making the finals of the 100 free and 400 IM, Michael the 100 free finals and Ines the finals of the 200 fly. Lucy had a great swim in the heats, knocking of 3 seconds of her pb and missed making the finals by the narrowest of margins- 0.01 seconds! In the finals, Ines produced a great swim to knock 2 seconds of her pb and finish fifth. Michael came tenth. Llewellyn had another excellent swim in the 100 free to produce a lifetime's best time of 53.87 and came in second in a tightly contested final. Next came the 400 IM for Llewellyn. Challenged by his competitors on either side, Llewellyn kept calm, stuck to his race plan and swam a masterful race to take the gold in a time of 4.41.13- 6 seconds faster than his entry time! #camdenswisscottageswimmingclub #cscscpride #bsc2022 #britishsummernationals #britishswimming #swimengland
