I was trying out some paneling with this one, but definitely didn't test the glaze combos, resulting in this gooey mess...but it turned out looking like stained glass, and I love the shape of it. Definitely deserves a spot in the #100mugchallenge diary. This mug is handthrown on little loafers clay. I carved out the shapes during the leather hard stage. After the bisque fire, I glazed on jazzberry, purple, and blueberry glazes in the different shapes. I dipped the outside in clear, and the inside was poured in with white glaze. ❤️ Things I like: the shape of the mug and the clean handle. 📝 Things to work on: Cleaner glaze in the shapes (don't use Clear glaze on top of base glaze) and height of the mug. Welp, here comes another mushroom, baby! 🍄 This one found its new home with my amazing MIL @kimwllms971 ! She's always such a support, and every time she comes to visit our little family, I end up packing her up a bunch of my ceramics to take home. I love you so much, my Kimmy! This mug is handthtown and on recycled clay. I dipped it into white slip in the leather hard stage and then carved a morel and chanterelle into the slip. After the bisque fire, I used black underglaze to fill in the carving and then wiped with a sponge. Black glaze on the inside, and clear glaze on the outside. ❤️ Things I like: the design on the mug, the color pattern I chose, and the slip contrast with the clay. 📝 Things to work on: mug shape and the placement of the design. I’m carving and handling these jugs today. This one has to dry a bit more before the scrappy clay bits can be safely brushed off. If they are cleaned up while this wet then the edges of the carving become soft, and the glaze breaks will not have dramatic contrast. Ostatnie zdjęcie ze śliwowiśnią, takie na ostatnich nogach. 😅🤣 Ten kubeczek wytoczony przez @alike_pottery_studio miałam przyjemność pomalować i ozdobić na warsztatach we wrześniu. To wtedy odkryłam, że transfery (które bardzo przypominają te wodne tatuaże, które robiliśmy sobie za dzieciaka 😀) można nakładać na farby podszkliwne i usłyszałam wtedy takie "pyk" w głowie, bo od razu pomyślałam: "woooow, ile nowych możliwości!".
