If you were being 100% honest, how would you complete the statement, "I have no king but _______________." Would you answer Jesus, or would a response like money, my kids, or my schedule be more accurate? The fact is, whatever is in that blank is something you perceive to have power, and it influences your life in major ways. Any answer but Jesus is only a reflection of true power. Jesus alone has true power. The amazing thing is that Jesus gives us access to His power (Acts 1:8), and He commissions us to share that power through the spreading of His gospel (Romans 1:16).
