I hadn’t really thought about it before, no idea why 😆 I am a Textile Artist but I now realise I am a Pixel Artist too😲. I was doing research for my next project when it dawned on me! When I am designing it is tiny little squares that I move about and give different colours to achieve the impression I want to create. I hand draw all my own designs using digital software as my building block. Our world is full of pixels and is used in so many things like programming and the biggest art form of Gaming. I am sure you have heard of the game Minecraft; it is a perfect example of Pixel Art. Deep Purple "Live In London" (MK3/1982/2007) CD Albumet Live in London er kjent av alle. Konserten var i april 1974, bare 2 måneder etter Burn ble sluppet. Bandet var utrolig engasjerte, potente, lekne og dyktige. Opptaket Bøe gjort av Martin Birch og ble redigert for å få plass på ett album istedet for ett dobbeltalbum. Det betydde at Space Trucking ble fjernet, all snakking og introer, samt noen solopartier også. Albumet ble sluppet først i 1982 I 2007 kom denne CD-versjonen med absolutt hele konserten. Her er ingenting fjernet, samt lyden er remastered. Konserten er fantastisk og har kun fått skryt i ettertid. Jeg elsker den også, men har helt siden jeg kjøpte den I 1986 reagert på en ting. Bassen til Glenn Hughes er ustemt (out of tune) mesteparten av konserten. Mellom sangene driver Lord, Hughes og Blackmore å stemmer instrumentene, men Hughes stemmer aldri E-strengen før han kommer til You Fool No One. Merkelig at ingen av dem reagerte på det. Dårlig scene-lyd kanskje? På coveret er heller ikke "The Mule" oppgitt selv om den introduseres av Hughes før You Fool No One. Fue en el Luna Park, el 14 de mayo de 2008. 👉 Al contrario de la gran masa consumidora, mi etapa favorita de esta gran banda es la que va de 1979 a 1984. La de Heavy Blues Rock, la de Micky Moody y Bernie Marsden, entre Love Hunter y Slide It In. Pero como el mercado es el que manda, el bueno de Coverdale armó todos los shows de su banda alrededor de los hits del multiplatino 1987. Pocos recuerdan que dos de ellos, Here I Go Again y Crying in the Rain, ya habían aparecido en versiones muy superiores (menos hair metal y más bluseras) en el glorioso Saints and Sinners, de 1982. 🎸 Así las cosas, esa noche en el Luna vi una version remozada de la Serpiente Blanca que sonó muy bien, pero claro, no podía estar nunca a la altura de sus antecedentes, cuando vacas sagradas del rock como Jon Lord, Ian Paice o Cozy Powell habían pasado por sus filas. David Coverdale ya tenía la voz afectada en 2008, aún así el tigre no perdió sus mañas y supo ejecutar a la perfección el rol de frontman rockero, con todos los clichés que eso supone.😎 🎙 No esperaba escuchar Guilty of Love, fue una sorpresa, y disfruté mucho de gemas como Fool for your Loving, Ain't No Love in the Heart of the City y los bises a todo Purple con Burn, Stormbringer y Soldier of Fortune a capella. É PRECISO OUSADIA, FÉ e confiar no próprio taco. Há dois anos quando iniciei a crianção do IVAN 2X, no Projeto FODA! Já os produtores musicais falavam a mesma língua: “Se você tem de 2 a 3 milhões para torrar em um ano, tudo bem”. Diante de pessimismo como estes disse para mim mesmo: “Deixa comigo”. E o louco, em menos de um ano conseguiu “subir” mais de 170 músicas autorais nas plataformas de streaming, como Spotify, Dezeer, Amazon, Appe e outras cerca de 40 espalhando o meu som em cerca de 180 países (vai dar Guinness Book). Para que isso acontecesse fiz o que imaginava ser o melhor, além de acordar às 7 da manhã e dormir às 3 da matina. Busquei um maestro genial; técnicos e engenheiros de som de primeira linha; um estúdio TOP disponível 24 horas por dia; cinco músicos que valem por uma pequena orquestra; e meia dúzias de pessoas amigas (loucas) que chegaram a largar empregos bem-sucedidos para embarcar nessa loucura que quebrou paradigmas e, claro, como jornalista essa história será contada em livro-reportagem. Só não prometo data, pois os próximos passos, ousados, serão visitar cerca de 35 países, ainda neste ano, nos continentes europeu e africano, onde, ousadamente, conquistei algum espaço.
