This is, without the shadow of a doubt, the most fun project I did so far. I recreated my favorite incarnation of the legendary Predator on a Spin Master chassis, including my first full body custom paint job and decal work. I'm super happy with the result, and that color scheme just pops no matter which light you put it under. It's y 8th custom truck total, and I'm amazed how fast skills grow when you just keep working on it. I know I'm miles away from all the top custom guys out there, and yet I can't help but being proud of myself a little bit 👊 If time allows for it, I'll try to setup the complete early 90s Monster Wars line-up in the same way. About time I took on my old favorite Grave Digger. Tried a bit of new equipment with acrylic pens, who are great to handle but not the greatest when it comes to color sustainability. With my reviews laid to rest, I found a new thing to dig into - custom painting my diecast @monsterjam trucks by @spinmaster @spin_master_deutschland A special thanks for the inspiration goes out to @diggers_diecast and @diecast_authentic, who both do exceptional work in that field, as well as @ourtime4adventures for pointing me towards these guys and helping with some tips. This custom of @camden.murphy 's Bakugan Dragonoid I reassembled with parts of various other trucks and than added some paint to the rims and beadlocks with Gundam markers as well as silver paint to several parts of the rollcage.
