Mother's day 2024 This year around, Mother's Day looked a bit different. Filled with laughter and a busy little girl that brings us so much joy. A true blessing from God. I see all these videos saying "to the one that made me a mother" and a little part of me wished it's something I could've posted, but to be honest, in my heart, I became a mother 2 years ago, with Nathan. It's so easy to say/think "forget" and "move on" but its not that easy to do, many days I catch myself wondering what life would have been like, what he would have looked like, would he have looked like Clarissa... The path we walked, is part of God's devine plan for my life, and it's something I need to trust Him with, even if it doesn't make sense. I am grateful for this beautiful little girl whom I can call my daughter. She is such a true miracle, always smiling. One day I will tell her about her big brother sitting on Jesus's lap. Today, we opted for a relaxing Sunday afternoon in the sun. Made some breakfast/lunch at home, packed everything into the car, drove to the park, and sat in the sun. Holy cow! We can maybe partly „blame“ Kakao, but even without it, there are days when my intuition dictates EVERYTHING…what to wear, what to have for breakfast and where to go. It feels like I am vibrating. Very intense. It used to scare me a little but now I think that’s the magic in my life. Of course it’s not like this all the time and that’s important because you can‘t run on maximum all the time without burning out and also you miss a lot of things when running on high speed. How in two seconds, life can change. I gripped the steering wheel as the tire blew out on a 8-wheel dump truck infront of me. Going 80mph. Pieces flew out across all four lanes and the sides of the highway. The tire shot straight hip into the air about 20 feet to the clouds. Bound to descend into my direct path. I swerved into the fast lane and over to the left side of the highway as chunks of rubber hit the car. Tires crunching over pieces of tire. Mine trying to grip asphalt to slow down and then maintain control, back onto the highway. Gripping the steering wheel as my hands uncontrollably shook. How quickly things change and how we endure so much trauma and return instantly back to a world as of it never happened. Scared by only a moment. Only a memory.
