Introducing mBot2 by @makeblock. He's the newest friend in our house - an upgraded version that we had for one of the now teens. If your kids are interested in robots and coding and technology, this is a great little starter robot. You just put him together (make sure you didn't put the wires in backwards!) and get going. There are some pre-set programs that you can just click and do - like line following, etc, but the real magic is when you use the coding program to create your own code and get mBot to do whatever you'd like. It's a drag and drop coding editor - like Scratch, but you can also select Python to see it more as code if you are more advanced. It can be a little tricky figuring out how to make it work, but that's all part of the challenge of coding and robotics anyway - figuring out what you've done wrong! I'm super thankful for the example programs that show you how to do different things, with explanations so you get to understand the what and why behind the code. You can also get some add-on accessories to upgrade mBot2 - to give him "arms" and such. We're looking forward to checking that box out next, but we are working on getting more familiar with the coding before we move onto the extras! I'll try to share more once we've gotten him past just driving around in circles! Piccoli 𝗿𝗼𝗯𝗼𝘁 e circuiti cittadini🤖🛣️🕹️ Ci troviamo nella scuola primaria ad Anzola dell’Emilia(BO) per un 𝗹𝗮𝗯𝗼𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗼𝗿𝗶𝗼 dedicato alla costruzione di macchinine-robot con il 𝗸𝗶𝘁 𝗠𝗮𝗸𝗲𝗕𝗹𝗼𝗰 𝗺𝗕𝗼𝘁🚗💨 Un corso realizzato in 𝗰𝗼𝗹𝗹𝗮𝗯𝗼𝗿𝗮𝘇𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗲 con gli amici di @bangherang_cooperativa dove le loro 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗲𝘁𝗲𝗻𝘇𝗲 𝗲𝗱𝘂𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲 si sommano alle nostre in ambito 𝗦𝗧𝗘𝗔𝗠, per dar vita ad un percorso didattico unico nel suo genere. Il progetto è finanziato con il 𝗗𝗠 𝟲𝟱 dedicato ai laboratori STEAM e al multilinguismo, per tutte le ragazze e i ragazzi che vanno dalle scuole d’infanzia fino alle superiori. In foto possiamo vedere i partecipanti intenti nella realizzazione di diverse ambientazioni urbane e nella creazione di mini-mezzi telecomandati, in grado di essere pilotati lungo le varie strade.
