Modern Methods of Construction (MMC) offer an eco-friendly alternative to brick and mortar buildings that can save time and produce less waste. MMC can refer to a wide-range of buildings from temporary to massive skyscrapers. It's a broad-spectrum that focuses on off-site manufacture and prefabrication. We need these alternative methods of construction. Older styles of construction have a damaging effect on the environment, they take longer to build, and cause a lot of waste. New methods of construction can avoid these issues and offer even more benefits. For example, we use panellised systems to make net zero modular buildings. Onze prefab badkamers sluiten aan bij deze bewuste manier van woningbouw, waarbij er goed geluisterd wordt naar de behoeften van toekomstige bewoners en gebruikers. Wij zijn inmiddels begonnen met de productie van de eerste 400 badkamers en toilet units voor dit project. The Karaka Tower We are absolutely honoured to have been awarded @nziarchitects Wellington Architecture Award for Small Project Architecture last night. “Walk-in access and steep bush-clad topography informed the tower’s verticality and clever prefab construction delivery. The detached structure – adjacent to the existing home – exemplifies how additional space can be conceived as an auxiliary. Minimal in footprint, it serves on many levels: providing much-needed extra living space, a studio and roof garden with spectacular views over Eastbourne. The crafted timber structure is exposed and weaves its way through the project, adding depth and detail to the interiors, as well as providing shelving.
