The day after my legs should have ended with a mountain climbing race and a mountain climbing visit. I moved to Tokyo and participated in a project to run around 17 public restrooms in Shibuya🏃♀️➡️🚽 In other words, a run with 17 bathroom breaks🏃♀️😆 What also got me interested in these toilets was the movie "Perfect Days". The daily life of a toilet cleaner is depicted... If you haven't seen the movie, please watch it 😊👍 I was curious about the toilets in that movie and found out about "The Tokyo Toilet Project". While touring the restrooms, we talked about the movie and met young men who were touring the restrooms just like us and people from overseas, a connection made possible by the movie.😊 It was a hot day, I was getting tired, and I almost retired halfway through, but thanks to the people who participated with me, I was able to visit all of them 🚽✨ After completing the tour, we went to a public bath to sweat it out and then went to an izakaya - it was fun! Do you think anyone has ever put candles in a urinal cake on their birthday? That was a dumb question, I'm sorry. Nevermind....But like, in the history of forever and the billions of people on Earth, someone's put at least one birthday candle on a urinal cake right?....It's had to have happened. As a joke? Or do they just really love urinals?....Restroom themed birthday party? Maybe they put a urinal cake on top of their real cake as a little cake topper. There's no urinal pies?......hmmm.....urinal cakes, you know? Anyway, here's "Wayne's", a big ol' mini dirty bathroom, one of my absolute favorite projects I've worked on!
