Aspen is slowly settling in. Sundance and Frenchie are slowly starting to like him. Frenchie will pin her ears back at dinner time but tonight was the first night he got to eat near them. Sundance has gotten better and is now correcting Frenchie every time she pins her ears and starts to charge the fence. He'll step in between them. Herd dynamics are so interesting! #rbfaspen

I just can't get over how tall this boy is! For those who missed my reel yesterday, this is my new boy, Aspen! We traveled all morning and day to pick this kid up. He loaded with a breeze, he did great even when we had to stop a million times because Google kept taking us through small towns. I didn't grow up pulling trailers all the time so on the way down, I drove for just over an hour. I drove where I was familiar with too. I drive firetrucks, so 🤷🏼♀️ Aspen unloaded like a champ. It randomly started to hail and the wind picked up like crazy. Sundance and Frenchie ran to their run-in but ran back out when they saw him. Talking to him (even Sundance who rarely talks!). He's a very sweet boy, just unsure of everything. He's just like Sundance and now Sundance is a total lovebug. He immediately started to eat grass. Once the hail stopped, he went down to roll. He let me put a rain sheet on him since it was supposed to rain again and it's 20-30° colder up here.
