POM-POM PUSH MATH SHOEBOX- Pushing wool pom-poms through holes is a visual and tactile way to practice math skills. First, they counted out the number of pom poms and pushed through the ones they were subtracting (or added more, for addition) in order to solve the math sentence. Pushing the pom-poms through the holes is also great for strengthening fine motor skills. 👍 To make the box, I painted a cloud with chalkboard paint and then cut out holes using an exacto knife.
