I discovered this beautiful miniature rose buried deep in some purple Columbine. It looked so beautiful in the surrounding foliage that the setting was equally the essence of the scene rather than just the subject. To capture the mood and painterly energy I shot this with the @lensbabyusa Velvet 56 at f/2.8 through the Columbine to partially obscure the scene. Gelijk uit de camera al mooi soft, iets scherpte of alles soft maar net wat jij mooi vind. Er is GEEN Photoshop of iets dergelijks nodig. Zodat een ieder gelijk met soft focus foto’s naar huis gaat. Ik laat je verschillende opties zien hoe je soft kan fotograferen en die ga je in de praktijk oefenen in de tuin. Wil je een softe achtergrond? Wil je een gehele softe foto? Wil je een gekleurde softe achtergrond? het is allemaal mogelijk met jouw eigen camera. Zoals altijd gebruik ik simpele hulpmiddelen een aantal heb je thuis al, zodat je thuis ook verder kan met deze techniek. Ook een aantal slimme truckjes qua instelling ga je leren. Even little seagulls are the cutest thing ever. On the isle of Düne there are loads of them nesting in the dunes. This happy bunch was standing on such a pretty spot, I couldn't resist photographing them. The rimlight on their fluffy body's is just too cute. Ohhh I love springtime! Zelfs de kleintjes van een meeuw zien er super schattig uit! Op Düne zitten de duinen vol met meeuwennesten. En dit stel stond op zo'n mooi plekje met een mooi lichtrandje op het pluche van de kleintjes. Wat is de lente toch heerlijk!

On mother's day last week the eggs of the swan in front of my house hatched. It was such a cute thing to watch. Mom being really protective of her kids and dad chippin in with giving them swimming lessons. There were two eggs left in the nest, one of them did hatch but the little one didn't make it. The other egg is still there while the family already left for another pont to swim in. The four little swans will grow up to be strong and impressive birds one day. For now they are just fluffy and cute. Nature is amazing! Op moederdag kwamen de eieren van de zwaan voor mijn huis uit. Ik vind het altijd een genot om naar te kijken. De moeder zorgde heel erg goed voor haar kleintjes en hield alles scherp in de gaten. De vader gaf ze zwemles en bleef wat rondjes zwemmen in de buurt. Er lagen nog twee eieren in het nest, eentje kwam wel uit, maar dit kleintje haalde het helaas niet. Het andere ei ligt er nog steeds, maar de familie is na een week al vertrokken naar een andere vijver om in te zwemmen, helaas. De vier kleine zwaantjes zullen in no-time uitgroeien tot grote stoere en indrukwekkende vogels. Maar voor nu zijn het gewoon nog kleine schattige fluffy vogeltjes. De natuur is prachtig!
