Friday Wedding Tip✨🩷 Ok here it is … you ready? Be in your wedding dress a minimum of 1 hour before your ceremony!! Ok why?? It may sound like a long time but there’s a lot that you’re going to want to do in that time!  An hour gives you time for: 🤍Bridal Portraits (photos of you on your own) 🤍Photos with your bridesmaids & parents 🤍Final make up and hair touch ups 🤍Recover from any tears 🤍A nervous bathroom break 🤍And finally … time to breathe before you walk down that aisle   That hour also doesn’t take into account any travel time to your ceremony if it’s elsewhere so make sure to factor that in too!😄

✨My Top Bridal Tips✨ * SCHEDULE - Ensure everyone is prepared... teeth brushed and showered before makeup and ensure skin is cleansed and free of oils and products. * HYDRATE - Drink plenty of water daily for at least a month prior to your big day. Hydration is the key to glowing skin and to ensure minimal breakouts! * PLAYLIST - Create a wedding morning playlist with all of your favourite songs to add to the wedding morning atmosphere 🎶 * TOP UP PRODUCTS - I always recommend some key top up products to purchase before your big day give this to a maid of honour or bridesmaid to help top you up during the evening! I always include a lipstick powder and setting spray. * PREPARE - Steam everything the night before (your veil/dress/ bridesmaids dresses) and layout all of your accessories, fragrances etc.🩷 Also making sure the area that you are getting ready in is clean of clutter!! This is so helpful to do ahead of time so you are not wasting time the day of your wedding to gather everything together!! Here is everything we included as well as some tips for planning purposes: ✨Shoes ✨ Purse (even if you don’t use a purse on your wedding day, save one from vour bridal events!) ✨Rings (keep with you the morning of instead of with the best man so your photographer can get shots!) ✨ Ring box (3 slot ring boxes are a bit difficult to find but this one is from Etsy) ✨ Jewelry ✨ Invitation Suite / Save the Date (If possible when ordering your invitations, get an extra envelope printed that you do not put in the mail that says “The Future Mr. and Mrs. XX” to include in shots. Save ahead of time - I wish I had also included our rehearsal dinner invites!) ✨ Flowers: Bouquet, Boutenierre, etc. (coordinate with florist so flowers will be there in time for shots. Boutenierres typically get delivered to the guys - plan ahead!) ✨ Ribbon or backdrop material to match our color scheme - mine was leftover from my shower! ✨Any other stationery that is important to you: menus, programs, welcome bag stationery, etc. ✨ Any jewelry, charms, tokens that are special to you. ✨️Buffer time! ✨️ So what is it? An extra few minutes that are added to the timeline here and there. This might be obvious to some, but buffer time is SO important. Sometimes the simplest of things can take an extra 10 minutes here and 20 minutes there, then all of a sudden you’re 45 minutes behind schedule! 🥂 This is much more common than you would think. The best way to make sure we stay on track is to add a few extra minutes every now and then when adjusting your timeline. For example, if you’re originally going to allow 15 minutes for something, just make it 20. Also, don’t forget travel time! Be sure to consider the time it takes to get from location to location (hotel, ceremony, reception) and potential TRAFFIC that is likely to occur depending on the time of day. This one is often overlooked but where you put on your dress is so important for photos (Duh!) but also for your overall mental headspace. Having a fun walk back down the aisle. Did someone say confetti?! It’s a detail that is really fun for photos and your guests but also sets the mood for the upcoming party!!
