SIDESHOT SATURDAY WITH POSSE PART 1 Here is an interesting topic. In the photos above, you see what looks to be a 5th gen Accord wagon that is chopped up. That is exactly what it is. In fact, this was a mock-up model that Honda developers used to design the interior of the 5th Gen Honda Accord Wagon. Seeing early stages of designs like this is really neat. The Honda engineers would be able to move the model around freely as it is on caster wheels. Check out how legit it looks inside. Also, note that Honda opted not to include the pet separation net that was built into the tonneau cover like the 4th gen Accord wagon. Instead, it was an option in Japan through Honda Access. Finally, take a look at the spare tire cover underneath the trunk floor. This was never put into USDM production models. The fancy spare tire cover came in JDM models and possibly EDM models. Just as a reminder. WAGON WEDNESDAY WITH POSSE PART 1 " EAST JAPAN LOWRIDERS 1999 " Accord SiR Wagon lowrider from club Self Respect Award: 1st place Utility with a particular focus on orange color This Accord wagon SiR had a tangerine candy flake color that is not often seen on wagons. On Watanabe's car, it seems that the tangerine style goes well with Honda cars ( sedans and wagons alike ). Of course, Watanabe uses small chrome/gold items as accents to bring out the tangerine. In addition, the stitching and cords on the white leather seats are orange, and the attention to detail that subtly matches the body color shines through. The suspension set up is a hydraulics system that is kept clean in the trunk area. The trunk also features a subwoofer system that is sure to shake the car. If that isn't enough, the model is a SiR Accord Wagon. The judges were paying close attention to this. This wagon won first place in the utility category at this show. LHD U.S. Wagon with 5 speed H22A from Kyoto, Japan! This is a very clean CE1 wagon. At one point in time, this CE1 was imported to Japan from the USA as a LHD model. What is special is that this specific model was originally meant for the USA market. It is no secret that car enthusiasts in Japan love USDM cars. It has multiple Honda Access parts all over. Honda Access front lip, Honda Access hatch visor, Honda Access Muffler, Honda Access roof rack, SiR black housing headlights, SiR grill, SiR wood grain center console, SiR steering wheel, USDM bumper turn signals, front and back mud guards, and some very nice Recaro seats. What is interesting about the interior is that it is a tan leather interior. In America, we want grey interiors or black. Tan interior in Japan is the ultimate USDM feature. Thank you for bringing your CE1 last night @masato125 ! This wagon has Canover air ride, which allows the 18-inch wheels to tuck nicely. The car has a ton of USDM styling. The headlights are USDM, the pinstripe and Garfield is USDM themed, and the rear badging is from a USDM model. The dash-mat is the print of a serape blanket, which is different. The dash rocks a Carl's Jr. number placard that you would get after ordering food in a Carl's Jr. in the USA. Met the legend @sloslo.honda.9497 himself at @wekfest_japan ! I took some photos of his new wagon, which has a neat history. Notice how it is left-hand drive? It is a new build of his, which has an H22A motor, 5-speed, and a ton of nice rare parts. It features a Honda Access hatch visor, front lip, and roof rack, which are the obvious parts. It features a paint matched grill, black housing headlights, and fender lights, which make it appear to be an SiR. Once you glance inside, you will notice it is LHD, tan leather interior, 5-speed, and has some nice period correct bucket seats. Thank you for introducing yourself. TIRE HOUSE CACTUS CE1 We are entering an era in which American dress up is becoming more segmented: light, Chicano, and high-tech. As anything progresses, it becomes fragmented when it boils down to something. I feel like I've done everything I can. However, "Tire House Cactus'' has brought to the world a CE1 that seems to blow away such worldly circumstances. Anyway, it's disgusting, it's badass, and it's cool. This extreme design is dominated by 3D graphic spiral art that completely integrates the aero and wheels. This was even given the title "Monster the Kill.'' What's more, we installed a strobe flash similar to an airplane's position light. You can do whatever you want. But isn't that what is truly American? Since you're going to the trouble of dressing up the American-born CE1, you should think about it the way you like and create it the way you like, instead of sticking to a bunch of trends. Early testing of the PIAA JTCC Accord April, 1996 The PIAA Accord was the first JTCC Accord to get a full livery. As seen in some of the slides, the JACCS and CASTROL car did not have a full livery yet. Instead, they were in the "test car" livery. Even without lowering the vehicle height, there is still plenty of room between the wheel arches and tires. This is a big advantage of the wide Accord. Additionally, the engine is located in the center of the touring car, and there is nothing in front of the axle. The front and rear suspensions are double wishbone type. However, the arm length will be quite short due to wheelhouse constraints. Of course, it has not been used in actual combat, but it is quite fast in terms of time, and a promising machine has finally been completed. The sign reads: "Congratulations, Associates! 100,000 Cars Exported In A Single Year - 1994 🚢 HONDA" Did you know ALL 5th gen 1994-1997 Honda Accord Wagons were made in Marrysville, Ohio, USA? This includes all right-hand drive models and left-hand drive models. Both were made from start to finish underneath the same roof! Even the SiR CF2 was built in this same plant! Pictured in the photo is a line of Aerodeck CE2s, which are European Domestic Market models. Even Aerodecks were made under the same roof as the USA models!
