The amazing geomagnetic storm of May 10, 2024 illuminates Mount Adams and the skies over Trout Lake, WA on an incredibly clear, moonless spring evening. Forecast to be a G4 geomagnetic storm, with up to a Kp8 rating, this event certainly did not disappoint with aurora being visible in 49 of all 50 states! My only regret with this storm is not having a teleporter to quickly hit all of the destinations I wanted to shoot on this extremely rare and special evening.
