Beginning the journey of Rotary Year 2023-24 and to help everyone indulge into the movement, Rotaract Club of Delhi Yuva organized the first project "Swarambh - The Inception of Fellowship & Service" on 01 July,2023.
To signify our love for the community under the same, we initiated a visit to Manav Mandir Gurukul, a Orphanage present at Sarai Kale Khan, New Delhi. The members taught the kids there and discussed about their stay at the centre, their needs and requirements and had a lot of fun over music and dance.
We also donated stationary items and food items to the kids at the centre. We were able to donate over 200 stationary kits and food items. Our members also met the head of the organization and discussed about how the club can associate with them and make the kids work on their skills in a more concentrated way. The event was successful as the members and kids enjoyed each others company.
