I just heard that Steven Slezak passed away today. He had been battling cancer for over two years. I had the privilege of inducting him into the USA Karate Hall of Fame and attending his promotion to 7th degree black belt. Over the last two years we spoke often and I will miss our conversations. My prayers are with his family and his extended family in Koei-Kan Karate. #cancersucks
