The BAFTAs 2024 winners have been announced with several films that screened at #LIFF2023 walking away with awards! Jonathan Glazer's Zone of Interest won Outstanding British Film, Best Sound and Best Film Not in the English Language. Although it failed to win any of it's nominations at the Golden Globes, these BAFTA wins will be hugely welcomed by the cast and crew. (And it's still showing for a few more days at @HydeparkPH) Emma Stone mirrored the Golden Globes by winning the BAFTA for Best Leading Actress in Poor Things, will she win big again at the Academy Awards next month? #LIFF2023 opening film Poor Things also snagged the BAFTAs for Best Costume Design, Best Makeup & Hair, Best Production Design and Best Special Visual Effects. 🙌 Comedy-drama The Holdovers star Da’Vine Joy Randolph won Best Actress in a Supporting Role while the film also won Best Casting. Hayao Miyazaki won Best Animated Film for The Boy and the Heron, while Anatomy of a Fall won Best Original Screenplay film.
