| Simple #CookingTips: Daun Lemuni for Nasi Lemak. There are two types of daun lemuni: green & purple. Both bear the same taste and texture; however the purple colour leaf exudes more fragrance, making it a suitable additional ingredient for nasi lemak. To cook nasi lemak lemuni, blend the leaves with small amount of water and keep in the fridge for one to two weeks top. Mix the blended daun lemuni with fresh coconut milk, add on to the rice and cook as usual in a rice cooker. Add on some shallot and ginger, and finally season with a little bit of salt.
