To get a deeper understanding of how we are all differently abled, we marked 𝐈𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐧𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐃𝐚𝐲 𝐨𝐟 𝐏𝐞𝐨𝐩𝐥𝐞 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐃𝐢𝐬𝐚𝐛𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐞𝐬 along with 3 amazing heroes within the community . There were no "too-afraid-to-ask" questions. Andra Lechintan, founder of @weareextra21 , shared her experience of parenting an atypical child and starting an NGO that supports children with Down Syndrome and their families. We also got the perspective of developing children's abilities, from George Mosoia, president at @asociatiadogassist , a multidisciplinary center of therapies for people with disabilities, and his colleague Meiko, by far, the cuddliest guest. Post-gala bragging moment, but we couldn't let it slide. ✨Four of our very own Workspace ✨ team 𝐰𝐨𝐧 𝟐𝐧𝐝 𝐩𝐥𝐚𝐜𝐞 in this year's 'Walkers' category, and they were so secretive about their competing, we only found out at the @walkingmonthro Gala. How did they do it? They said pure determination, not wanting to let the team down, and a couple of 𝐥𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐨𝐧𝐬 𝐥𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐧𝐭: 💡53 rounds of our entire office space equals 33.000 steps. Good to know! 💡Keep your friends close, and the friends you compete with, at least 3.000 steps behind 💡Don't walk only in your neighborhood, before sunrise, especially wearing dark clothes. This has probably been the most emotional Walking Month Gala yet. At the end of a record-breaking 9th season that totaled 900+ million steps. Just like every year, we are are amazed by our Walking Month champions! Together with our main partner, @banca_transilvania , we had the honor to award their incredible results. The biggest winner? Our own city, that is about to change.
