I went to Sac Comic-Con (2024) today! It was fabulous. I saw the actor for Gibbs ("Pirates of the Caribbean" film series) there. A lil' bit late to be posting this, buuuut... I CALLED IT!! Not only have I expected the continuation of the "Kung Fu Panda" film series, but also the DreamWorks franchise of "Megamind." Granted, the animation shown in the movie trailer could have been done better, but hey, "Megamind" deserved a sequel for a long time now. I just knew it! Though what's even more intriguing is the timing of this, considering that the trailer has been released not too long after the reveal of Illumination's official "Despicable Me 4" trailer. I guess this means that both iconic computer-animated villains-turned-heroes of the comedy genre will be reappearing at once, and under the same conglomerate corporation (NBCUniversal). Although I am unsure as to which exact species or subspecies this one was supposed to be, I'm going to assume that it's a western lowland gorilla (Gorilla gorilla gorilla).
