Next smol job tackled. Produced a custom bore snake from paracord sheath after watching @xeairsoft 's YouTube video on such things, and added some chopped down tie wraps inside for stiffness to make it easier to feed through the pull chord length of it before dragging through the knots. Now I just sat and cleaned *all* the barrels while watching other YouTube stuff. Work's a treat. Getting around to some odd jobs that have been bothering me for a while. First up. Properly sewing on some velcro to my beret's front face so I can more readily attach and remove my 3D printed @taijialliance #TeamTaiJi logo cap badge, also glued the side down to the brim to try and prevent it losing shape so much in the wash. Might have to sew that at some point too. Yes. I can sew. Used to make my own clothing or alterations and repairs, and cross stitch, and make cushions. Had to reshuffle the deck once again. I knew I should have bought extra damned hooks. Running out of empty/useful space when you consider additional spacing for optics mounting in the future. Also. FAL and FNC having opposing side charging handles. I should change the FAL's out for an L1A1 SLR style folding one. This is just the "international service rifle" section... Aside from the stack of Glocks I couldn't find space for on the other "Heckler & Koch / Eurotrash" wall. Everything's behaving much better today now the temperature is climbing a little more. The FAL is still drooping at extreme ranges, but the closer groupings are very consistent at least. Only working day this week before a long weekend holiday and the kids wefe being typically extra obnoxious as they tend to be when it's wind down day. Was already running on empty as of last night and then things got hectic throughout the day here. Many thanks as always for everyone's concern, I'm fine. Despite it being the worst quake in 25 years, Taiwan is far better prepared for them with more modern structures and procedures as a result of such past experiences. As is usually the case Hualien on the east coast took the brunt of things and we're seeing similar building collapses or subductions like last time, so hopefully casualties can be minimised as best as possible. Taiwan is a remarkably resilient and well prepared society for the most part, and we see everyone rallying to help and getting shit done in short order everytime nature or the world tests us.
