🔵 WHAT IS THE BLUE CARD? A Blue Card is our way of highlighting positive, kind and sporting behaviours shown by the children! At the Football Fun Factory we don’t give out yellow and red cards as these are for bad things. We believe in highlighting the good and rewarding those who do it! The Blue Card is earned by someone at the end of our session who has impressed either myself or one of my assistant coaches! 🫡 RESPONSIBILITY is our Word of the Week at the Football Fun Factory this week. At our sessions, we teach children about responsibility each week, but this week we will be making an extra focus on this. At every FFF session your child will be learning about responsibility without even knowing. Through our safety circles, where your child places their belongings such as their water bottles they are taking responsibility for their own belongings. Throughout our sessions this week we’ll be talking to the children about responsibility, understanding from them how they currently show responsibility as well as getting some ideas from them about how they can have more responsibility. He is our oldest participant and is a brilliant role model for the younger ones! 👷🏼♂️ I AM FFF BECAUSE, I prioritise Safety, Fun and Development in that order! 2 weeks ago today me and Coach Micky spent the day at Anglian Training in Norwich on a Level 3 Emergency First Aid at Work course. This was a refresher for me and a first ever experience of first aid for Micky. Keeping children safe and having the knowledge and skills to act in the unlikely event of an accident no matter how big or small is very important to us. ⚽️ TODAY WE HAD A VISIT from Dennis Longhorn! Dennis is an ex professional football player! Dennis played for teams like Bournemouth, Sunderland and Sheffield United. He came along and introduced himself to the children, spoke about his career and scoring a winning goal against my team, Chelsea and then ran a little coaching session with everyone. 🌟 FFF SUPERSTAR SPOTLIGHT: Joel & Elijah! Joel and Elijah are brothers and both first came to our sessions almost a year ago! Both of these guys are absolute superstar listeners. They both listen to all our games and tasks brilliantly and make coaching super easy. Elijah is a little warrior and moved into a higher aged middle group at the age of 5! Joel is one of the funniest children I’ve ever met.
