The Career Services Office, Islamabad Campus arranged an MoU signing ceremony on May 24, 2024, between FAST-NUCES, Islamabad, and the American Institute of Pakistan Studies (AIPS). The Honourable Rector, Dr. Aftab Ahmad Maroof, and the Director of the Campus, Dr. Waseem Shahzad, represented FAST-NUCES, along with the Career Services staff. The MoU includes provisions for faculty from the USA to conduct training sessions and develop academic linkages, faculty mentoring workshops, academic talks, seminars, visiting scholars from the USA at the FAST-NUCES Islamabad Campus, scholarly exchanges, collaborative research, and lectures. Career Services Office is pleased to announce that seven students from FAST-NUCES, Islamabad were selected in the Stem Sister Program in March, 2024 by AIPS and they will be flying to the USA for two weeks summer program this July. The National Computing Education Accreditation Council (NCEAC) accreditation team visited the FAST-NUCES Islamabad campus today. The visit was convened by Dr. Shoab A. Khan. The highly anticipated Welcome and Launch Event for the HEC DAAD- EFFAL Pakistan Track Scholarship Program was held at FAST NUCES, Islamabad Campus by the International Office on April 30, 2024. This event is supported by the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD), with funds from the Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development, Germany. This scholarship program aims to promote academic and scientific advancement in Afghanistan by creating high academic degree opportunities for Afghan refugees in Pakistan. 15 Students (Male: 12, Female: 3) are pursuing their Master's Studies in the fields of Business Management and Computer Science. The event was graced by the Executive Director of the Higher Education Comission, Professor Dr. Zia Ul-Qayyum who was received by Dr. Waseem Shahzad, the Faculty, and the International office team.
