“He coveteth greedily all the day long: but the righteous giveth and spareth not.” Proverbs 21:26 KJV (This is a continuation of verse 25) The lazy and idle person (slothful) eagerly desires to possess all the world has to offer, from his waking moments, till his dreams at night, he greedily covets. Yet, that desire can never be fulfilled, for he is too lazy. However, those who are pure in heart (righteous), tenderly give to others and are contented with what God has provided for them.
