We’ve been having a great time in Nanaimo this week as Jorge Avilés, Mike Bailey and Shellie Clerk attend the Indigenous Resource Opportunities Conference (IROC). Since 2009, IROC has been showcasing successful collaborations among Indigenous Communities, governments, resource developers, and business leaders while serving as a platform for dialogue on equitable access to jobs, training, new opportunities, and sustainable benefits from resource development projects. At AiM, bringing positive community impact by supporting collaboration in resource development among Indigenous Communities and other stakeholders is close to our hearts. Witnessing how responsibly developed projects positively contribute to the well-being and advancement of Indigenous Communities is incredibly rewarding and we’re honored to be able to participate in this conference!
