Getting caught up with Trainer Rylie and K9 Sgt. Annie! We say “getting caught up” quite frequently because it’s true. Dana, Ed, Cassie, our mom, dad, Santa, and all the trainers are on the move a lot. Sometimes we get bogged down and try to fight for air as we resurface for a moment. BUT it’s all good. It’s all for a good fight. Field trip to Scheels and the Eden Prairie Center. These teams made the trek to practice busy environments as well as a restaurant setting: Team Lucca Team Remi Team Dakota This was the first time these teams have been in such a busy environment. Boy was it packed! They did a great job working around all of the hustle and bustle in the mall as well as having proper etiquette in the stores and food areas. We went up and down escalators, they all strutted their stuff like they were pros! With some of the photo-booth areas we practiced tucking to simulate what it would be like to “Tuck” under a seat. Really fantastic work to these teams! Team Nelson came out to train at The Spot by NutriSource. We worked on some different leash handling skills with his handlers as well as engagement training with Nelson. They’re doing an awesome job! Keep it up! Lil Miss K9 Kimber and her battle buddy had a productive session at The Spot by NutriSource with Trainer Mike. Here’s a great example of training hurdles. Kimber is almost 5 months. At this age she is growing physically and mentally. Sometimes, when the dogs go through growth spurts, they tend to be a little bit of a Butthead! This is natural and there’s nothing to be worried about. All the trainers are well equipped to work through this and a little bit of time and patience is all we need. Team Kimber did a great job working through this together. We had a nice easy cadence of work and play. Kimber also got to see her buddy K9 Gator! Gator is so very patient with her. She comes in hot wanting to tackle and play Gator who does a great job putting up with her BS! We have some catching up to do from yesterday’s training. Here is what Trainer Rylie and K9 Sgt Annie were up to at The Spot by NutriSource. K9 Marley and his battle buddy came out to continue his obedience work. He is coming along nicely! After doing some work and playing, K9 Marley decided he was done for the day and flopped over for some belly rubs🤣 This team has been hard at work. Great job gentlemen! Next was K9 Buck and his Battle Buddy Llana. We continued working on his obedience and confidence boosting. They’ve done a wonderful job so far! Great job Team Buck! Train… that’s why Trainer Mike rolled out of bed at 0415 and started off the morning @thespotbynutrisource with K9 Ember and her Battle Buddy AJ. This girl is growing up! 40 pounds at 15 weeks! The foundation is coming along and the this team is growing… literally! Keep up the great work. For the love of god… look at this sweetheart! K9 Kimber and K9 Ofc. Kari of the Sartell Police Department paid a special visit to the Sartell High School. The kids got to interact with Kimber and Ofc. Kari while eating lunch. We also hit the Sartell Walmart for some training. The support from everyone in the City of Sartell is amazing! We can’t believe how well Team Kimber has taken off. We are proud! Success! K9 Dyno and his battle buddy are back to regular training and reaching new heights. Dyno’s patience were tested at the Menards in Coon Rapids and Starbucks. Dyno was a great sport and played along with our silly antics! Keep it up Team Dyno!
