Claypaky Lights Up Skindred’s First Arena Headline Show at Wembley Welsh reggae-metal band Skindred played their first arena headline show in March at the OVO Arena Wembley, England, with Claypaky #Mythos2 and #SharpyWash fixtures supporting the musicians’ intense, high-energy performance. Will Furze @rockshowld, the band’s #LightingDesigner and #LightingDirector, discussed the show with Skindred band members last year while on tour. They wanted to incorporate existing elements of their stage set, which featured artwork from their latest album “Smile,” and lasers were a must-have as well. In selecting lighting fixtures Furze aimed for an uncluttered rig so he looked for a hybrid-style light that could perform multiple functions. “I chose 40 Mythos2 as they are the best ‘hybrid’ fixture on the market. ARRI and Claypaky products illuminating the music videos for "Dream Girl 2," a Bollywood comedy-drama that follows the escapades of a man who disguises himself as a woman, causing chaos and confusion along the way. DP C.K. Muraleedharan captured the music videos for two individual songs. One showcasing an electrifying dance scene, while the other shows festive celebrations—all captured at different locations. To light up the scenes, Imran Shaikh and his team used Claypaky's Sharpy X Frames, HY B-Eye K25s, and Mythos2 fixtures suspended from trusses.
