Candy craze tonight!! . I used to worry about over indulging in that chocolatey🍫 and other sugary 🍭 goodness. . Three children meant LOTS of candy in the house at one time. Not to mention the leftovers would have from trick or treaters. It’s damn hard not to overindulge when there is that much hanging around. . I know it’s been said we should buy candy we don’t like so we won’t eat it all, but I like it all except licorice and I would not force that crap on anyone. Besides, that’s just bullshit. No one wants the cruddy candy. . First thing, go through the candy and throw away the crappy stuff no one really wants. If we keep it, we are likely to eat it anyway, so just chunk it. . We ration the candy out to the kids after they get it right? Well, we gotta do the same for ourselves. . We need to give ourselves enough to satisfy our sweet tooth without going overboard. Usually 2-3 individual bite size pieces and 1-2 snack size pieces works well. About 3-5 bites. . Then we need to schedule when we get to have it. It gives us something to look forward to. .
