What’s your thoughts on this episode? Did you like it, dislike it, etc.? ⚡️ - And from there I was expecting they do more with him in future seasons… yet they pretty much did little to nothing with him for 2 seasons. And when they choose to give more focus to the villain it was only for like 4 episodes and it was kinda dull for most of them. And when he came back in the series finale with all the other evil speedsters, I thought maybe things were about to go down in a final speedy confrontation… BUT GOD, WAS I WRONG! 😒😑😭 Maybe we’ll see another version of him one day somewhere else, and I do hope they utilize him better than they did during his time in the Arrowverse…
Godspeed made his live-action debut in April 16, 2019 in The Flash's 5th season on The CW and ever since then, it has been one weird choice after another. At first, he appears as a seemingly "one-and-done" character battling an alternate future version of Barry's daughter... when that's settled, we see his clones wreaking havoc in Season 6, in present day, possibly teasing this storyline ACTUALLY going somewhere. Okay. But then we choose to ignore that for the majority of the season, I guess, until we address it AGAIN by the end of Season 6. Ok. Then, he ACTUALLY gets his own (rushed) character arc in Season 7, is now played by a different actor... and suffers a memory loss? With questionable, corny one-liners and Star Wars-esque action sequences thrown in between all that as well. He's defeated now for good and makes a cameo appearance in the series finale where he (and his clones) get defeated within SECONDS by a NON-speedster, over-powered... empath. No words. This character deserved a better adaptation, in my opinion.
