I have never been happy with where the butler sink lived. I found the perfect place for it against the wall in the sun but, before I could fill it with herbs, it had to be moved because the wall came tumbling down. Really pleased to tell you that, not only is the wall still standing, it is also nice and solid. That means that todays job has been sieving and sorting soil. I had an assortment of 8 tubs, buckets and bags that needed doing, here are the first 6. My wall building a couple of weeks ago was a complete disaster! I have no idea what went wrong but I could not get on with the ready mix mortar that the builder left me. This week, one of my lovely students went and picked me up a new bag and I did the first layer last night. This was not planned for this evening but, after getting a text to say that my new soil is arriving Monday, I realised that I needed to get what I had planned for the next three days squeezed into two.
