The Nike x Colette collab you’ve likely forgotten 💙 Most of us should be familiar with the iconic FNF Colette Jordan 1 High, but the Parisian boutique has also worked with Nike on a variety of other silhouettes that have not met the same mainstream attention. This pair from my personal collection is one of my favourites from their archive. This iteration of the Zoom Vapor 9 Tour was released in honour of professional tennis player, Maria Sharapova, for the 2015 French Open. Details which nod to Sharapova are seen throughout the pair with her logo present on the heel tab of the left shoe, five symbols marking her five major championships on the midsole, and a quote inspired by one of her own famous quotes on the insoles. Colette makes their mark on this pair with their signature striking blue colour which has been front and centre throughout every other project they have released alongside Nike. *not for sale*

2003 Haze Dunk High 😶🌫️ This early 2000s classic collaboration with NYC-born graffiti artist Eric Haze was released alongside a Dunk Low in a reversed colourway which utilised the same unique overspray technique on its uppers. Upon being contacted by Nike to test out this new technique, Haze quickly decided on a colour scheme of black, white and grey intended to mirror the gritty realities of his life in NYC which is a common theme within his own work. The final result was limited to a run of 1000 pairs excluding the exceedingly rare hyperstrike version. The limited nature of this pair which was one of the earliest sneaker collaborations with an artist, combined with its unique and timeless design, has absolutely cemented the Haze Highs as one of the most iconic non-SB Dunks of all time. 2005 Nike Zoom Air Mobisu 6.0 🚴♂️ This pair is a pristine deadstock example from the genesis of the 6.0 line. With a manufacture date of June 2004, it is likely one of the first pairs to be released under the NKE 6.0 brand. The colourway pictured has long been forgotten with no trace of its existence found to be present online during the course of our research. The uncovering of obscure releases, such as this one, in time capsule condition is the most rewarding element of all the work we pore into the curation of vintage footwear. We hope to share our appreciation for the rarity and sheer impressiveness of pairs like this. Pairs that aren’t widely considered to be the rarest or most sought after, simply by virtue of them being so uncommon that even the most dedicated sneakerheads aren’t privy to their existence. Our deep interest and appreciation for the often overlooked 6.0 line is no secret. McDowell’s inspiration for the design of the Air Max Plus (TN) is quoted as being the blue-tinged Floridian sunset skies and interrupting black silhouettes of palm trees portrayed in his own sketches. This inspiration birthed the original Hyper Blue colourway of the TN. To pay homage to the origins of the silhouette, we have curated these fan-favourite pairs; including the 2013 retro of the Hyper Blue and some pairs from the Palm Trees pack which call back to McDowell’s initial inspiration. Nike SB Dunk High “Skunk 420” 🥦🍇 Size: 11us/45eu Cond: pre-owned Extras: OG Box, replacement Purple Kevlar Laces 🏷️ Price: 1300€ - HISTORY 🌎👨🏿🏫 Nike SB has spent the past decade paying extra attention to a special day of the year - 4/20, producing some theme-dedicated pairs including the Skunk Dunk. in 2010, Todd Bratrud, who had already designed successful Dunks like the Send Help, approached Nike SB senior product line manager Shawn Baravetto with the idea of the Skunk Dunk High. Baravetto loved the idea and was also a little scared of legal issues but then and reached out to fellow senior product line manager Stephen Pelletier, the self-described “stoner on staff and material nerd” on the SB team at the time. Bratrud and Pelletier combined forces to turn the Dunk High into a nug of dank weed drenched in blended shades of fuzzy green suede with a purple swoosh and a dazed and confused skunk drawing on the insole. The Skunk Dunk was an obvious nod to the sweet leaf in an era before the legalization green rush took hold.
