I recently got to speak and present at the inaugural Africa is Digital Summit in Victoria Falls. It was a great honour to hear and connect with other amazing attendees while I was there. My talk was on How Documenting the Past can be the Blueprint for the Future. Thanks to Aurra Kawanzaruwa for pulling this together. 40 Winters.... simple things are a blessing. Pandamatenga crossing can't really call it a border post lol...anyhoo the road is rocky on the Zimbabwean side and definitely 4x4 territory. If you get puncture be sure to scan surroundings and proceed with caution you in game park. The villagers are friendly and never pay for fairs, you will appreciate them during the rainy season 'donkey power'. When coming from Vic Falls turn left after 38km by Robins Camp sign , if you take 'wrong turn' happy camping😎. There's no card machine at the crossing strictly fiat, operating hours 0800-1700. When you see park rangers don't be alarmed they are lovely people if you not up to no good. If you fail to catch 1700, nearest crossing is a 100km away and closes at 2000hrs. If you driving a foreign vehicle you can apply for your TIP online https://ecustoms.zimra.co.zw/etip/ .
