Growing up as a Cuban American in Miami, tres leches was always the ultimate celebration cake! For my quinceañera, birthdays, baptism, and graduation, I could always count on the delicate, milk-soaked cake to be the centerpiece of the dessert table. I wanted to honor my past while still respecting my present which brought me to this: Saffron Tres Leches Cake 🍰 Dripping in sweet cream. Studded in golden, fragrant saffron.
