Look at this gorgeous transformation. I did a babylight foliage balayage. Then toned her to a sandy blonde for a beautiful grow out. To be honest I felt like I could had done better. I decided to take another color client while I was doing this & I donāt normally do that because itās stressful. Plus I want to give 100% of myself to my clients and make sure that when they leave Iām happy with the results. so I definitely learned a lesson from this experience and in the future I wonāt do that again. I shouldāve let the other side process for about 15 more minutes longer Where I finished and because I had done another client and didnāt want to leave her waiting too long I wasnāt on my game and I didnāt notice it. I wouldāve liked to do a route shadow as well. But this is beautiful anyway. We learn and we get better whenever we try something new or different and it doesnāt go our way. Beautiful platinum blonde highlights. This beauty usually gets a very heavy blonde highlight with iced out ends. She wanted a more dimensional look so last visit I added a root drop in between foils. This visit I just left the longer grown out pieces. So that she would have more dimension. When I want high impact I foil the longer grow out. Itās like I skip. I foil the grow out from the 2 visit ago. But this time I left them. This gives a more dimensional lived in color. You donāt need to add lowlights for everyone who wants a more dimensional blonde. You can use the natural hair for that. When I want ultimate impact with lots of blonde. I foils the hair that has more grow out. When I want to add dimension I leave the older grow out. This will take about 2 visits to really see the difference. When adding a lowlight itās very important to use a liquid Demi like shades. It took me yrs to learn this. The lowlight will fade & not cause breakage. If you use a permanent color or even a cream demi you are creating a problem that will be very difficult to reverse.
