A Final Girl is a female character in horror films, particularly the slasher subgenre, that ends up as the last woman alive to confront the k1ller. She is often the protagonist of the story, and displays survival instincts stronger than her peers'. The Final Girl is usually portrayed as morally virtuous, intelligent, and resourceful, qualities that help her survive. In horror films like Alien, Texas Chainsaw, The Descent, Ready or Not and many more, the Final Girl is seen wearing a white tank top or dress in the beginning of the story, and by the end it is covered in bl00d.
