A bit back I was going to sell my Delfonics tote bags because I didn’t want the patches on them anymore even though I love the patches, I just wanted something different. I removed the patches and used them on other things. I ended up sewing a new little design for the tote bags, tea dyed some fabrics, cut up an all an old top, and added some lace. So far I’ve redone my large and small tote bag and want to do some thing today for the medium size one. Plus some other little sewing projects. (also, the tote bags still have the three pockets in the front to utilize.) 🩵 #apeachlife
I got this cute little house shelf yesterday and thought it would go perfectly with all my little houses in my creative space. I took the back off because it was a little too dark and I may paint the back or paper it, stil not sure. But I love the little house shelf to make some of my little special items viewable instead of in a drawer. 💕 #apeachlife

Happy New Year!!! I hope you enjoyed a wonderful 1st day of 2024. Mouse and I have been curled up together for a few days now, since I got sick after Christmas. Thankful that I was not sick for Christmas and thankful that it’s almost past me. Today I finally get to write in my new 2024 Hobonichi and I’ve been so looking forward to it. I had my Classiky organizer put away for some and I’m so glad I recently got it out and started it again. It is really give me a nice little place for all those little things and I find that I’m using them so much more now. Under the trays I keep all of my pocket & passport inserts so they’re easily at hand when I need one for a new project. 🥰✅ #apeachlife

Enjoying a little creative time in my no rules Travelers Company standard insert. A little stationery cuteness and watercolor swatching with my Art Toolkit pocket palette, Van Gogh watercolors. If you haven’t tried using a no rules insert or notebook it is a must. It really frees you to do whatever you want. It allows you to be way more creative and free when you have no rules on how to use it holding you back. I find I create so much more in my no rules, notebook or insert than anything else. I know I’m always saying that I did a little organizing but it’s so true. My creative space was really needing some organizing and refreshing. I brought my @classiky organizer out and added it to me desk space for organization. This is one of my favorite @classiky pieces and you can find it at some specialty stationery stores. Sharing a look at one of my most adorable mini totes from @pegandawl it is constructed from a vintage homespun German pillow sham and waxed canvas. Plus the cute little essentials zip pouch is constructed from 1800s dressmaker’s fabric and lined with waxed canvas. I decided to add a vintage gold rub to the soft pink frame on my @thomaskinkade Disney painting and I’m loving it! I added a before pic with the pink to share the difference. For the longest time I didn’t know you could learn how to draw, I thought it was a gift you had to be born with. My dad could draw so amazing, my brother, my mom, and my boys. Yet, I couldn’t do stick people 😄Then I learned if you practice, you can learn to draw and that just amazed me. So I’m practicing, and yes my cat sort of looks like a fox-ish or something but I’ve come leaps and bounds from where I was, when I first started sketching. So I’m sharing it’s never too late to try something new, to keep growing, and you never know what else is right around the corner that will bring you joy. 🩵 #apeachlife

This Van Gogh Museum watercolor pocket palette is definitely my newest favorite go to set. Michaels Craft store now has them available in store and online from $49-$79 depending on which lovely color set you choose. I have 4 of the different pocket palette sets and you can’t go wrong with any of them. I’m off to try and paint some eyes 👀 on the little cat. 😄 #apeachlife

The miniature desk in the pics inspired me so much! I have forever wanted a roll up desk, but have nowhere for it. I also can’t imagine getting rid of my desk for another if nothings wrong with it. I know I can buy lots of stationery cuteness at times, but I’m also very frugal at heart. Nevertheless, when I saw your little rollup desk, it was a must for me. When I tell you I’m obsessed with roll up desks, I don’t think I could express it enough.😄 So thank you so much for sharing your amazing space with us and inspiring me and I know so many others of us in the group. The importance of sharing I cannot speak enough to it and not just sharing, but acknowledging those who have and do inspire us. It is free and one of the ultimate gifts of giving is to share and inspire others.
