OUT NOW ON THE “RED JACKSON DANCE” YOUTUBE CHANNEL! I recently had the pleasure of interview the AMAZING @gcaszper Geron “Caszper” Canidate. Geron has been a dancer since his childhood, and specialises in the "locking" and "popping" dance styles. Caszper has collaborated with many well-known artists, including Jeffery Daniel, Vanessa Williams, The Pet Shop Boys, and the King Of Pop, Michael Jackson. Caszper is most known for his incredible performance on "Soul Train" , which later gave him the extraordinary opportunity to teach Michael Jackson his most iconic move, the "Moonwalk" , also known as the "Backslide" in their private dance lessons. In the 80s, Caszper later danced with MJ again, for the "Beat It" short film. Caszper danced in, choreographed and auditioned the dancers for the "Bad" short film too, alongside Michael and Jeffery Daniel of Shalamar. Caszper's last project with MJ was the "Smooth Criminal" short film, in which he danced and did the "lean" with Michael. Caszper has also been a part of many dance groups, including "Caszper & The Kids" , "The Dynamic Boppers" , "Eklypse" & his duo with Cooley Jaxson. In the interview, we discuss Caszper's extensive and fascinating career as a dancer and delve deep into his time with Michael. Aujourd’hui, 20 Mars 2021, le scénariste, réalisateur, acteur et producteur américain, Spike Lee @officialspikelee (de son vrai nom, Shelton Jackson Lee) fête ses 64 ans 👨🏾🦱📝🎬🎥🎞💰🇺🇸🎂😄👏🏻 Ses films se focalisent souvent sur la communauté afro-américaine et, en général, sur les problèmes sociaux et identitaires des minorités 🧑🏾👨🏿👨🏾🦱🧔🏿👵🏾👴🏾 Certaines de ses œuvres ont même suscités polémiques et débats. Il est également souvent acteur dans ses propres films, notamment ses premiers. Il apparait par ailleurs dans "Taxis pour cible" (2001) de Lee Davis. Spike Lee fonde très vite sa propre société de production, 40 Acres & A Mule Filmworks, en référence à 40 acres et une mule, promesse d'indemnisation faite aux esclaves afro-américains libérés après la guerre de Sécession : 40 acres (16 hectares) de terre à cultiver et une mule pour traîner une charrue. Il réalise ensuite son premier long-métrage, "Nola Darling n'en fait qu'à sa tête", qui sort en 1986. Tourné en seulement 12 jours dans le style du cinéma de guérilla, le film remporte notamment le prix de la jeunesse au Festival de Cannes 1986. De plus, le film connaît un succès critique et commercial, aussi bien en France 🇫🇷 qu'aux États-Unis 🇺🇸. Cela fait alors de lui le nouveau porte-parole du cinéma afro-américain.
