Hey you man, need to see this. Recently Abellio (or now known as transport UK) ordered new electroliners for the route 133. They were delayed but I think a few weeks ago they came, entered service and this is the new allocation to the route. I must say I was going to try to get a photo of these for sometime so this week was certainly the perfect opportunity when I saw her in Brixton. Now people you man should know, these electroliners Wright bus have manufactured and made for the 133 aren’t the ones you see on routes like Stagecoach 86 and 199. These are different as look at the lower bottom lip of the bus, it looks very weird and bizarrely out of shape for these buses. I think Wright were trying to make a replica of the GB electrokites but putting the bottom lip on the DD version of the Electroliners. I mean I see what WB were doing with that. What do you think of these buses though? I think they’re good looking on the 133 and though the bottom front lip looks strange as crap but the electroliner in itself isn’t shabby. Give it a 7/10 from me. Happy these are here and working the 133 all the very same. Also this is my first time getting a brand new bus in 2024 so more to come in the future’s time. Nah finally i got a photo of this. It’s a good job TUK were operating the replacement buses here because it meant getting a long awaited photo of one of these new toys for the fleet. Now these buses are the GB electrokites. These are to be used for the route U7 but given the charging facilities to whatever depot it will operate hasn’t been sorted yet, so these are being used for other routes or replacements. I was lucky enough to get a photo of one of these. I’m going to get bare likes for this. Trust me! I really do like this bus. Modern, looks amazing but quite dumbstruck by the large ass windows it has! I mean it looks like a decker on a single decker if you think about it! So on 22/11/2023 I made the time to devote riding the brand new electroliners that entered service on the 199 on the 11th just last month as of posting. So I went and got my first journey on board one of these. I have to say it was really good! I was well impressed with the specification it had from the wooden flooring, PIS, high back seats and the fact these use the traditional paper blinds than the LEDs! But the downside about it is the interior they went with is really boring. It’s only the TFL spec and nothing else. I wish Stagecoach at the time could have used the blue/grey interior that Stagecoach National uses, I feel it would been more suited for these buses at the time. These buses are seriously rockets. The fact I went on this route now 5 times as go ahead really had me now contradicting the fact that when this route went to go ahead in April this year that from when I first went on it on 23rd September 2023 really is crazy that I went from that to now riding few times after that I’m now down to my 5th time going on this route as go ahead. I gotta say I was well impressed by these buses that this is the first time Northampton actually got new buses in about 10 years and I’m not joking when I say that.
