*HERE* are my top tips for a successful wedding morning STYLIST EDITION👇🏼 ✨ Pack and organize your kit the night before and make sure you have already mapped out the location, the time you need to leave the house and ALWAYS include time to stop for coffee and your set up! ✨ Reach out to brides/ wedding planners the day before to grab the hotel room if needed. ✨Make sure your brides know the amount of space you need for your set up. We have A LOT of stuff. A medium cleared table next to outlets is ideal for me! Do you need a chair? Too high or too low? I travel with my own to avoid this issue. ✨ Tell your brides to have their bridesmaids select 2-3 inspo pics BEFORE sitting in the chair. Bonus points if it’s from your Ig page. ✨ Share with your brides how you’d like their hair prepped the night before and how you would like everyone to arrive the morning of. ✨ THIS ONE IS HUGE 👉🏼 Tell your brides not to fill in the names of the bridesmaids on the timelines but instead tell everyone a set time to be there. This one is so important to keep my morning running smooth and on time. A lot of times when brides assign time slots it throws things off schedule. If we are waiting around for a bridesmaid to show up but she’s running late, or the next bridesmaid you have is still in the makeup chair it will throw the schedule off. If everyone is there at a set time we can grab and go as needed, no issues! ✨ Ensure bride has collected payment from everyone prior and make sure you collect BEFORE starting services. At the end everyone is rushing around, leaving to get dressed, etc and you don’t want to be missing a payment. ✨ Is the bride paying for valet? Make sure you ask the name that is under the room reservation or ask the bride to purchase a prepaid valet ticket for a stress free exit! ✨ Another tip to not forget, SNACKS!! We typically have no time for breaks and I know my a** will be STARVING by the time I get into the car. In honor of Lisa & Gerardo’s 1st anniversary, I present to you the execution of their wedding design vs the inspirational moodboard that led the design!! The ask from L&G was the color pink, an explosion of flowers and Spring!! We started with a secret garden wedding design but as I chatted with them we learned that they didn’t have a huge love for the secret garden book so we evolved into a hidden garden design instead with timeless accents. The “epitome of Spring” is instantly what my design eye chose to focus on. Flowers and greenery in abundance with string lighting, a string quartet and personal touches to create the most magical, guest-minded ambiance. There were so many nods to flowers throughout the design and that was so fun to sprinkle in!! This Spring garden theme paired with the majestic backdrop of Temecula Valley was a sight to surely make guest’s jaw drop and transport them to a different realm! I love creating moodboards and design decks for my clients to help them visually understand the direction of their design and wedding! A moodboard serves as a creative collage to truly showcase the aesthetic and vision of the project in a visually appealing manner AND helps lead the design so that every choice you make, every vendor you hire, every rented item is 1000% aligned with your vision! We knew we had to create a hairstyle that would work under harsh weather conditions. Because Iceland meant snow, rain, wind, cold. And Bibi wanted a modern & elegant look that would work good with her beautiful dress from @wildatheartbridal . And she looked amazing!! Compleet look with the pretty earrings from @maisonsabben Also check out the films during te wedding in Iceland. The hair even got wet at the waterfall, but stayed in shape very well!
